Turbo lined butterfly valve with return signal is an industrial valve that combines turbine drive, rubber lined sealing, and position feedback functions. It is widely used in pipeline systems such as petroleum, chemical, and water treatment that require high sealing and automation control
Core Features
Driving Mode
Adopts worm gear drive. It realizes labor-saving operation through a gear reduction structure, suitable for large-caliber or high-frequency opening and closing scenarios. It also has self-locking capability, ensuring the valve maintains a stable position when no power is applied.
Lined Rubber Design
The inner walls of the valve body and butterfly plate are coated with rubber layers (such as nitrile rubber, EPDM, etc.), which can effectively resist erosion by corrosive media including acids, alkalis and salts, and extend service life.
With position feedback function
Integrated with valve position transmitter (limit switch), it transmits the valve open/closed status to the control system in real time through 4-20mA standard electrical signal. It realizes remote monitoring and automatic interlock, and improves system safety and management efficiency.
Working principle

Opening and closing control
Rotate the handwheel and drive the butterfly plate to rotate through the worm gear reduction mechanism. Clockwise is closed and counterclockwise is open, achieving medium on/off and flow regulation.
Signal feedback
When the valve stem rotates, it triggers the micro switch inside the transmission box, and outputs corresponding electrical signals for the fully open/fully closed positions, which are transmitted to the PLC/DCS/fire control room to display the valve status in real time.

Key features and advantages
Strong anti-corrosion performance
The lining material can be selected from PTFE (resistant to strong acids and alkalis, resistant to organic solvents, suitable for -20 ℃~180 ℃) and EPDM (resistant to sewage/weak acids, suitable for -30 ℃~120 ℃), suitable for most corrosive media.
The valve body material is mostly cast iron/steel, and the inner lining layer is in direct contact with the medium, which extends the valve life and reduces maintenance costs.

Effortless operation+safe self-locking
Worm gear reduction design, with a handwheel operating torque of only 1/10~1/20 of direct operation, suitable for large diameter (DN50~DN1200) valves.
The mechanism comes with a self-locking function, and the butterfly plate will not rotate on its own due to medium pressure, preventing accidental closing/opening.

Accurate and reliable signal feedback
Dual micro switch design, corresponding to fully open and fully closed positions respectively, with no signal delay or drift.
The output signal is compatible with the vast majority of industrial control systems and can achieve remote monitoring and interlocking protection (such as fire protection system false alarm).

Small flow resistance+flexible installation
Butterfly valve has a flow resistance close to that of a straight pipe, suitable for high flow conveying; Support multiple connection methods such as clamps, flanges, and lugs to adapt to different pipeline conditions.

Selection and usage precautions
- Lining material matching medium: PTFE is preferred for strong acid and alkali, EPDM/rubber is selected for sewage/weak corrosion to avoid lining corrosion or swelling by the medium.
- Signal type confirmation: Clearly identify whether it is a dry contact signal (passive switch signal) or a 4-20mA analog signal to ensure compatibility with the control system.
- Installation direction: When installing with clamps, attention should be paid to aligning the pipeline flanges to avoid damage to the lining layer due to compression; The worm gear box needs to reserve operating space, and the handwheel should be turned clockwise to close.
- Regular maintenance: Check the wear of the lining layer every quarter, verify the accuracy of the micro switch signal feedback every year, and prevent signal false alarms.
