Selection principle of globe valve

1. It is advisable to choose a stop valve on the pipeline or device of high temperature and high pressure medium. Such as thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, high temperature and high pressure pipelines in petrochemical systems.
2. On pipelines that do not require strict flow resistance. That is, pressure loss is not considered a big concern.
3. Needle valves, instrument valves, sampling valves, pressure gauge valves, etc. can be used for small valves.
4. There is flow adjustment or pressure adjustment, but the adjustment accuracy is not high, and the diameter of the pipeline is relatively small, such as the pipeline with a nominal diameter ≤ 50mm, it should be selected.
5. Small and large chemical fertilizers in synthetic industrial production should use high-pressure angle stop valves or high-pressure angle throttle valves with a nominal pressure of PN160 and a nominal pressure of 16MPa or a PN320 with a nominal pressure of 32MPa.
6. In the desiliconization workshop and pipelines that are prone to coking in the production of alumina Bayer, it is easy to choose direct-flow stop valves or direct-flow throttle valves with separate valve bodies, removable valve seats, and hard alloy sealing pairs.
7. For water supply and heating projects in urban construction, cut-off valves, balance valves or plunger valves can be used for pipelines with a smaller nominal diameter, such as pipelines with a nominal diameter of less than 150mm.
